Objective
Biotechnology is that branch of science with amalgamates biology and technology in order to derive productive results from biological organisms through technological applications. The three years B.Sc Biotechnology(Hons.) programme is designed to provide students with a grounding in the various disciplines like Biochemistry, Genetics, Microbiology, Chemistry, Immunology and Bio-statistics, Cell Biology, Bioinformatics while highlighting the recent possibilities to meet the needs for graduate study in most fields of modern science.
Duration of Course
This Honours course is a full time three years (six semesters) Bachelor's Degree in Biotechnology.
Eligibility Criteria
The candidate is required to have passed the higher secondary , 10+2 or equivalent of any recognised Board or Council in Science with (Physics, Chemistry, Biology & Mathematics) in 2nd division.
